Rose to the 99th anniversary of Czechoslovakia

In the year when we celebrate the 99th anniversary of the founding of the Czechoslovak Republic, class 7 C has been planted in the garden with two roses bearing the symbolic name of the CSR. This is a historical variety marketed in 1934 by the famous royal breeder Jan Böhm of Blatná. This renowned grower gave his varieties very often patriotic names.

The variety of Czechoslovakia is a sad rose, which has flowers of eight centimetres in size and very striking colour. The shades of light pink and reddish pink are blended here in strips.

If everything goes out, the roses will bloom next year, that is, at the time when we will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Czechoslovak Republic. The rose has been refinanced in class 7. C, from the money earned for collecting old paper.

The roses were planted near the place where we plan the leafy heartbeat in the next year at a school event supported by the regional environmental grant, so we will have a place on the premises of the school to remind us of this important anniversary.
